1st century AD, Egypt, sun, heat, passion and the army…can these ingredients shape the destiny of two Roman soldiers? Don’t miss the sensually hot prequel to TRESPASSING ALL HALLOWS EVE!

“This is not a book for the faint of heart. There is a lot of lust in this short, but hot, tale. There is nothing but m/m and m/m/m. Read if you dare!” RRU rated it 5 Stars

“I hated to see Roman Seduction end, partly because I love that time period and because I wanted to discover what Aurelius’ choice would be. I also want to see if they can succeed in a relationship. I plan to read the sequel, Trespassing All Hallow’s Eve.” TTL rated it 4 Lips

“Ms. Tolomei has written a beautiful and emotional story. In Roman Seduction, we see Aurelius fight his lust and growing love for Attilio, a man who has declared sex for him does not include any emotional attachment. The fear of rejection we see throughout this tale is realistic, sometimes heart rendering, and yet at the same time shows us the courage it must take for this man to spend time with Attilio knowing that more than likely the feelings will never be mutual. A spectacular read for any fan of GBLT as well as a fan of romance in general!” CTR rated it 5 cups

“Laura Tolomei has created an intriguing scenario with Attilio and Aurelius. Attilio is a strong, macho character yet he is also full of wisdom and knows his own mind. I really felt for him when we learned about his past. He’s a very honest character, but he remains true to the time in which the story is set. Aurelius is his opposite, attracted to men but not entirely open about it. Attilio teaches him to let go of his fear and disgust of women and to be open about his wants. Roman Seduction is a interesting read with good period detail and two fascinating characters.” FAR rated it 4 Angels

“Take a step back in time with Roman Seduction where mixed signals can mean the difference between heartache and joy. Attilio is a likeable hero but unfortunately Pullus comes off as somewhat whiny at times. Roman Seduction is just that, an old fashioned sexy seduction with a hot little surprise twist or two at the end.” Joyfully Reviewed

Before Brighit and Celtic England, Aurelius is sure his destiny is the blond Roman soldier…or is he? “Please, tell me about the Celts,” Aurelius asked once. “I find those far-away tribes fascinating.”

Attilio swallowed a generous sip of wine. “I hate to admit it, but the Celts are one of the few people I didn’t quite become connected to.”

“Why not? Are they so very different from us?”

The centurion shrugged. “In many ways they are.” He drank again, unwilling to get into any detail. “I only spent a year at Curia Raetorum, one of our border cities, and it wasn’t enough to—“

“Get into their heads?” Aurelius teased.

“Right,” Attilio admitted, a little surprised his young friend had already caught on to his mind’s workings. “Their way of thinking still escapes me, but I know I’ll get another chance to study them, even though my men don’t look forward to it,” he concluded, mentioning his soldiers for the first time.

“Where are they now?” Aurelius wondered.

“They’ve earned a much needed rest in Rome or wherever they chose to go.”

“But you’re here working.”

“My choice, Pullus.” To take that damn woman off my mind and resolve some very personal trust issues. He had answered neutrally, not intending to tell his young friend about Keitha or her betrayal. “In Curia Raetorum, our last post, we had a difficult time. The situation got out of control, ending with a violent rebellion, and we had to kill all the rebels. Afterward, the general felt he owed us some rest. I was happy for my men, of course, but asked him for another assignment, even if alone.”

“Do you miss them?”

“I miss army life from time to time. The tight discipline is invaluable and I wish civilians had half of our training.”

“If they had, you probably wouldn’t have had to deal with the rebellion.”

Again surprised by his insight, Attilio nodded.

“And were women involved, too?” Aurelius asked candidly.

“Why do you ask?” the centurion challenged.

Aurelius shrugged. “They tell me their women are…different.”

Attilio sent him an ironic glance. “Since when do women interest you, Pullus?”

Aurelius blushed. “I…just something I heard.”

“And since we’re on the subject,” the centurion continued, “what have you got against women anyway?”

Aurelius shifted nervously as if his seat had turned into a heated brazier. “I…I don’t like them much, that’s all.”

“Let me get this straight,” Attilio pursued relentlessly, the answer hardly enough to let his young friend off the hook. “You have a mother, right?”

“Of course, I do.”

“And you don’t like her.”

“I didn’t say that,” the dark-haired man flared.

“Funny, that’s exactly what I thought I heard just a second ago.”

“I said it, yes, but I didn’t mean it like that.”

The centurion leaned forward, his chest extending over the table. “Then please explain.”

Aurelius glanced once again at the striking man in uniform, standing tall under the hot Alexandria sun. The square was empty now, most people having gone to lunch, rest or simply hide from the merciless heat. Yet, he stood next to the table, unwavering, seemingly unaffected by the burning rays.

It was not the first time Aurelius had seen him. The Roman army devoted time and effort on recruitment, hoping to attract the younger generation into a glorious service. And they even use their best men for the job, Aurelius thought, sending another furtive glance to the fair centurion dressed in a tunic and heavy high-strapped sandals. Ruggedly handsome with dazzling blue eyes set in a carved face, he had not escaped Aurelius’s hungry gaze, holding it tight with his heavy nose, thick lips and especially the short light-brown hair that turned golden under the sunlight.

Probably Greek origins, Aurelius mused, rather than classical Roman. Being a mixed race himself—Egyptian mother and Roman father—he sympathized with the man for half-breeds seldom had a place of their own in Roman society. Luckily, the army welcomed them warmly and more than one had made their fortunes.

This particular man did not seem to need it. Aurelius perceived his open disposition even at a distance, feeling the yearning again. He would have liked to walk to him, shamefacedly asking to know him better, though he did not intend to join the army. Or rather, the thought had crossed his mind every time his father insisted on his marrying a nice woman and settling down to continue the family business. But Aurelius was not sure he could fulfill his wishes.

“Hey, Pullus, aren’t you tired of looking me over at a distance?” the deep voice speaking in the local dialect cut through his thoughts.

One night, hurrying home, Aurelius thought he heard someone following him. Turning to search the darkness, he saw nothing. Unsettled, he quickened his pace, but cutting a corner, strong hands grabbed his shoulders, shoving his face to a wall.

“Well, Pullus, seems we meet again despite your reluctance.”

Feeling Attilio’s warm body pressing against him, Aurelius’s stomach caved in. “I–”

“Shut up. I’m not interested in your lies. Listen to me instead. We’re pulling out in a few days, moving to Carthage. Will you come with me?”

For a moment, Aurelius did not believe his ears.

“You heard me right, Pullus,” Attilio confirmed softly as if hearing his doubts. “I want you to join the army and come with me.”

“But you don’t want me,” Aurelius blurted out.

Attilio turned him around, this time pressing his shoulders to the wall.

“I never said so.”

“You didn’t have to, Attilio. You made it more than clear that night at Vittore.”

Attilio grinned. “That was only a test, Pullus. Do you think I’d ask another man to keep me company while I fuck a slave?”

Aurelius swallowed hard. “You don’t understand, Attilio,” he said, staring straight into the mocking blue gaze. “I want you, not as a game and not as a one-time affair. But I know you’d get bored eventually of having me around so–”

“You’d rather play coward and take the easy way out?”

“I’m not a coward,” Aurelius spat hotly. “I know this will make you laugh, but ever since childhood I’ve had the feeling I was born to meet someone special.” He lowered his gaze for a second, ashamed to admit such a private thing. “When I first saw you, I thought it might be you.” He raised his head again. “This is what scares me the most and after that night, I couldn’t pretend anymore you were just a casual acquaintance. So I avoided you…to play it safe.”

“One thing the army taught me, Pullus, is that there’s no playing it safe. Life is a never-ending challenge that calls us to battle every single day. We can act as cowards or take our responsibilities and be men.” He eased his pressure. “The choice is yours, Pullus, and I’m not going to force you into anything you don’t–”

But before he finished, Aurelius grabbed Attilio’s crotch, feeling the erection growing. With a hungry growl, he slid down the wall until his mouth was at the right height to suck the bulge, swallowing the clothes, too. Attilio freed his prize possession and Aurelius’s tongue finally lapped the bare skin on the hardening shaft. Just a few licks before pulling it to the edge of his throat, choking on the bursting head straining against the confined space.

Excited to have the man he most wanted, Aurelius’s senses spun, enflaming his body with a fiery heat that hardened his erection to stone thickness. But he would have gladly ignored it, happy to play with Attilio’s demanding cock, recognizing it as his true Master from that moment on.

Attilio had different plans. Grabbing his shoulders, he pushed his face to the wall again. The tempting, round ass stuck out and Attilio uncovered it. Aurelius bent his back to push out the ass, his legs spread apart, his buns wide open. When Attilio nudged his cock against the tight entrance, Aurelius pushed back and the thick shaft slipped easily inside.

His father traded precious Egyptian essences in return for hard sesterces and other goods. Aurelius often inspected the incoming freights, making sure everything was in good condition. But today, he had a more pressing need, which a slave could easily satisfy. “Better,” he said brusquely, boarding the ship, damning the handsome centurion and his magnificent body at every step. “Let’s see the cargo, Kemsa,” he continued, heading below decks.

Kemsa hurried along, following his master down the stairs. “Your father’s things are right in front—“

Cursing the centurion one more time, Aurelius turned. “I don’t give a damn right now,” he said, taking out his half-erect cock. “I need something else and fast.”

As expected, Kemsa kneeled and opened his mouth obediently. Aurelius pushed inside, a groan of pleasure escaping his lips at the warmth surrounding his demanding shaft. Wrapped around the bulging head, the slave’s tongue lapped lavishly the entire length, running up and down the stem in a steady rhythm. His hands slid the silky skin, matching Aurelius’s movements while an avid suck pulled the shaft to the edge of his throat, almost chocking him in the process.

Thrilled by the depth, Aurelius grabbed Kemsa’s head to hold it in place, uncaring about the effect it would have on him. Only when he felt his convulsions, did he allow the slave breathing space, merely to stick it back furiously. Wanting immediate satisfaction, Attilio’s tempting body flashed in Aurelius’s mind, setting his senses on fire as he shoved one last time into Kemsa’s mouth and nothing could stop the powerful jet from plunging straight down the slave’s throat.

“Hey, Pullus,” Attilio interrupted, “you’re in luck. The puppy hasn’t been broken in yet.”

“Master.” The blond man squirmed uncomfortably, darting glances at Aurelius, too. “I want to serve,” he continued in Latin, “but I can only do some things—“

Attilio raised his hand to silence him. He had learned enough from the slave, who was only a minor player. It was time to focus attention on the real object of the game. “Pullus, the puppy seems afraid.” His eyes challenged Aurelius to prove him wrong. “I’m very curious to see if your skills will prove to be adequate.”

Aurelius’s eyes flashed as if suddenly understanding the game’s real purpose. His hand fondled the slave’s crotch, exposing the limp cock. “As a matter of fact, he doesn’t seem interested,” he commented, his hand sliding on the soft skin.

“But I’m sure you’ll get his cooperation, right Pullus?”

Exchanging another glance, Attilio made sure Aurelius understood his request and for all response, watched him bend his knees, lips already open to swallow its juicy prey. As the hungry mouth worked its magic on Ewan, the centurion saw the cock grow bigger by the second. Obviously liking it, the slave arched his back, leaning against Attilio for support, his ass moving as he pushed more cock into Aurelius’s willing opening. Seeing his opportunity, the centurion nudged his shaft against the slave’s butt, making him feel the bulge, but not moving to let him get used to it.

Grabbing the slave’s head, Aurelius went down on his back, carrying Ewan with him and aiming his mouth over his own erection. Moving his clothes aside, Aurelius pushed the slave on the upraised bursting head, forcing him to get on all fours.

Attilio quickly followed, his fingers already seeking the tight hole between the buttocks, wetting its edges once found. Circling the narrow opening, he waited until Ewan thrust back before aiming his thick shaft and pushing inside.

It was not easy to secure the entry he wanted, especially since Ewan stopped moving altogether. Feeling his tenseness, Attilio bent on his ear. “Relax, puppy,” he breathed seductively, in Celtic. “I don’t want to hurt you.”

Unable to talk because Aurelius kept his mouth occupied, Ewan emitted a muffled sound. To help him, Attilio’s hand tried to reach the young man’s cock, but Aurelius beat him to it. A few well made slides and Attilio felt Ewan relax, opening wider to his solicitation. And with every push, the flesh became more pliant, giving in to the pressure and enlarging to fit more of its marble-like guest until the centurion felt Ewan’s pain had disappeared, replaced by fiery pleasure alone. Without wasting more time, Attilio plunged inside, pumping the delicious tightness with an increasing rhythm that soon ended in total bliss.

Attilio grinned. “Hey, I’m willing to settle for something else,” he teased, pulling her to the carpets. Giggling, she took her clothes off before reaching them, her generous curves gleaming in the candle’s pale light. The centurion grabbed her from behind, squeezing the huge breasts, their size too big to fit in just one hand. His thumb and forefinger teased the swollen nipples, pinching them hard. Throwing her head back, Domitilla leaned against him to offer more flesh to his exploration, which was not long in coming. His hand ran down to the hairy mound, first testing her reaction, then taking a decisive plunge into her wet universe. She spread her legs far apart and rubbed the sensitive spot on his fingers, her ass pushing seductively directly on the demanding cock, turning it into stone.

Blinded now by passion, he pushed the waitress on the carpets, making sure she fell on her hands and knees, the plump ass wriggling in the pale light looking only more desirable. His fingers quickly found the narrow hole between the buttocks and slid forcefully inside pliant flesh, which sucked him deeper than he expected.

Satisfied, Attilio switched to bigger dimensions, pushing his cock into the yielding entrance. Two shoves and his long length filled Domitilla completely. Her flesh closed tightly on his rigidity, curling around it in a firm hold that felt blissful. Too good to stand still, the centurion slid from the narrow space only to thrust back with more satisfaction, sparking a sensual dance as the heat of their skins rubbing together grew out of proportion.

Curia Raetorum was a bustling Roman stronghold in the Rheine valley, nestled among lakes. The name came from the Celtic kora or koria, meaning clan or tribe. It had been his first experience with the Celts and not a very pleasant one at that. Fascinated by their culture, Attilio had set out to study its every facet, soon learning the basics of their tongue. Keitha had helped him at first, her supple body keeping him warm while her mouth spoke the new words…when he let it free. And it seemed just like so many other assignments, Attilio recalled regretfully, the story still burning inside.

Exactly when he began to have some doubts, he could not tell later. The centurion only knew that at one point, Keitha did not seem so attractive. He smelled something he did not like at all so, before the feeling grew worse, he ended the affair. But the stink hid darker secrets. Head of a faction set against Rome, Keitha sparked a full-scale revolt, trying to conquer back her territory from the invaders. Skirmishes soon turned into battles until the Romans had to kill all the rebels, Keitha included.

When Attilio had seen her body in the dust, he had not known whether to cry or laugh for having survived the dangerous trap. There was no doubt in his mind she had played him, trying to steal precious information. Of course, the centurion had never revealed anything of importance, but it did not make him feel any better. Implicitly, he had trusted Keitha as he did all women over men in general. After the incident, he asked himself if he allowed sex to cloud his judgment and the answer was not to his liking.

Alexandria, Egypt, hot sun melts the senses and rushes blood in heated LUST, the same unquenchable desire Aurelius feels for Attilio, a Roman soldier recruiting for the army. Aurelius, the son of a wealthy tradesman, isn’t really interested, but attraction for the handsome soldier will make him pursue an acquaintance that will turn out more significant than he would have believed at first.
