Laurent De Berger is a lusty Frenchman who escaped his homeland because he owed so much in back taxes. He went to Canada and there he found a job and eked out a living for over five years. He decided to leave when his boss, a woman he had been having sexual relations with for the past few years, decided she was getting a divorce and wanted a more steady relationship with him. Laurent doesn't do relationships, so it was time to find a new place to live.
He went to Dallas, where there were plenty of men and woman to satiate his sexual appetite. He finds a good job and it doesn't take him long to become involved with his secretary. He also begins a relationship with a sexy male. It takes some juggling on Laurent's part but eventually he gets the two to meet and before long, they are involved in a threesome. It fits perfectly into Laurent's plan.
Awhile back, he was involved with a voodoo witch and she gave him a book, Le secret du Halloween. This book explains the exact situation and place to have his secret heart's desire. It has to happen at midnight on Halloween. It will grant him entrance to the demon world, and Laurent can't wait to see what will happen next.
His plan works perfectly and he immediately sees a sexy blue demon waiter that he desires. But the demon abhors humans and can't stand the sight of Laurent. From here, it not only gets dirty, it gets gory in the only way a horror novel can. Having your heart's desire and satisfying your lusts takes on a whole new meaning in the world of demons.

Laurent quickly caught my attention with his confidence and demands - he definitely knows what he wants and is not afraid to take it. The supporting cast of characters pale in comparison with him. The demon world is uniquely built and creates an atmosphere that will leave you gasping. Definitely pick this one up if you like some paranormal with your sizzle!
